What To Do In The UK – July
Be sure to make the most of July’s
long days and balmy nights, and spend your days outdoors. There’s lots going in
the UK this month, and there will be something to suit everyone. Music fans can
look forward to a plethora of festivals, while sports fans can sit back and
enjoy the last few days of Wimbledon and the World Cup.
July 3rd – Pride London, London
Throw on your most fabulous outfits
and enjoy this fun party on the streets of the capital. Pride kicks off with a
colourful parade that starts on Baker Street and winds up in Trafalgar Square. There
will also be stages at both Trafalgar and Leicester Square, featuring a spectacular
line-up of choirs, musicians and DJs to entertain everyone.
July 9th – 11th
– T in the Park, Kinross, Scotland
This annual pop music festival takes
place this weekend in the lush green fields of Kinross. Shake your lady lumps
to chart favourites The Black-eyed Peas, Muse, and Eminem. There will also be
other attractions such as market stalls, a cinema and a fairground. Don’t
forget to dress up in your most outrageous get-up on Fancy Dress Friday – you may
even win a prize!
July 21st – 25th
– Tatton Park Flower Show, Cheshire
If the crowds at Hampton Court prove
too much for you, then make your way over to this smaller, but no less exciting
flower show. Showcasing the best green-fingered artistry around, the Tatton
Court Flower Show is a refreshing feast for the senses. You’ll be indulging not
just your eyes and noses, but your taste buds too, with Fortnum and Mason providing
delectable refreshments.
