Most rooms have gorgeous views over the surrounding estuary, and on a clear day, you may even be able to spot the seals frolicking on Blakeney Point. Blakeney Point – Teeming with wildlife, the Point offers nature-lovers the chance to get close to seals, as well as admire up to a hundred species of birds. Hordes of migratory ducks and geese can be spotted in the salt marshes, often stopping there to feed themselves before flying off again. Visitors who want to get a closer look at the jolly seal colony can arrange boat trips from Blakeney to Morston and back.
Eat
The Moorings – Located on the High Street, this casual, unpretentious restaurant dishes up hearty fresh meals to locals and tourists alike. The seasonal, local seafood and game are the stars of the menu, but leave some room for the delicious, homemade puds, all baked by owner Angela.
